Happiness reminder #1

Posted: 18th May 2012 by Zeeshan Shah in English, Happiness Reminders

What a confusing title; “Happiness reminder”! What does it mean? Do we really need reminders to be happy? Yes, we do! There are many things in life that are very basic and highly obvious, yet we still tend to forget them during our busy everyday lives. I’ve therefore decided to post a “Happiness reminder” every now and then. These reminders are based on my own experience, my observations, things i’ve heard, learnt and seen etc. The point is: Read my posts and be happy (Hah, I wish!).

:)

PS: Do overlook the grammar and spelling mistakes in my posts, as I won’t bother at all to correct them (don’t have time!).

Alright, so what’s the happiness reminder #1? It’s very simple, very basic, yet not very easy to remember… Read the rest of this entry »

Foto: AFP

Haha, this is really hilarious!

Matvareprodusentene skjuler skadelige ingredienser. Slik avslører du dem:

Had to repost everything

Posted: 15th August 2010 by Zeeshan Shah in English, Various

All the posts had to be reposted because of server issues, I had to move this site to another server, and that is why all the previous posts have been posted on the 14th of August (in case you may have noticed).
But the domain-issue is now solved, which means that i’m hopefully going to blog regularly, and the link to this blog is now ShahZeeshan.Com (a boring name, i know) :)

This machine is really good, you simply just fill the bottle with tap water, screw the bottle into
its holder, push the button on the top 4-5 times and voilà; you’ve got sparkling water (just like Farris in Norway)!
You can also choose to add some flavour if you like (coke, lime/lemon, orange etc). You all should try this, it’ll save you money, it’ll save the environment and it’s much more fun to drink and serve a soda that you have made yourself!
It’s a “Bye bye CocaCola Company” from me!

This is an unplugged version of “Soch the band’s” new song called “Uth Jawana”,
talking about SOME of the problems in Pakistan. Do listen to all of it, and I especially
love the part from 1.33 minutes.

What would you have wanted to say to people if you knew you had only 3 "The Last Lecture- lessons in living"
months more to live?

A tough question isn’t it? Well this book is about someone who had to find an answer for this question, and he did that in a great way!

6 tips for å leve lengre!

Har du lyst til å leve lenge? Da bør du kanskje prøve å følge disse seks tipsene her ==> http://www.side2.no/helse/article2953235.ece.

Ingen av disse tipsene har vel noen gang vært hemmeligheter, men greit å få en påminnelse (og jeg bør kanskje begynne å følge noen av dem selv).

Just ordered my iPhone 4! :-D

Posted: 14th August 2010 by Zeeshan Shah in English, Technology, Various

I’ve just placed an order for two iPhone 4 (one for myself, and the other one for Saqib, a veeeery good friend :-P )! I’ll have it in a couple of weeks time, can’t wait! Feeling like a kid right now.

To be honest, I don’t NEED a new phone right now, but the “Apple-power” is too strong to resist. Anyways, the countdown starts from now on :-D

PS: If you think that I’m an “iPhone-fanatic”, then please think again! I know people that had been standing in a queue for up to 9-10 hours to get their hands on iPhone 4 at its launch today.

I’m just completly addicted to this song (will see how long the addiction lasts though). Anyways, check it out.

Tragic plane crash in Pakistan- killing 152

Posted: 14th August 2010 by Zeeshan Shah in English, News

“An airliner has crashed near the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, killing all 152 people on board.”- Read more at BBC here.

This is really a tragedy in true sense, we can’t even imagine how the families of these victims are having it right now. My prayers go out to both the ones who lost their lives, and most importantly to their families.

May God give them strenght to go through this tough time, and may God grant jannat to the victims, ameen.

About Me (how fun)

Posted: 14th August 2010 by Zeeshan Shah in English, Various

Well, blogging has never been my type of thing, but for the past few months I’ve been feeling a strange urge to express myself to as many people as possible (standing in the street and screaming out to everyone who walks by just didn’t work for me), and what can be a better way than blogging!

(If you’ve bothered to read the first paragraph I should be feeling proud)

To tell a bit about myself in few words (since there is not much to tell about me, really), I would tell that I’m lucky enough to have been born and brought up in world’s best country to live in; Norway (Click here to see proof ). I would describe myself as boring, simple and very modest when it comes to bragging about myself (hah!). Studying BBA at the best and funfilled university in the world (according to me); BI Norwegian School Of Management.

If you have bothered to read through the second paragraph aswell, then I would feel like the king of the world!

Any more questions? Ask me (so that I can keep this post as short as possible), or check out the “My Favourite” -section by clicking HERE!
